It’s one thing to post a dashboard on a web site for each active project, but quite another to be confident that every project team member and its interested management have read and understood its meaning.
Sending an email with the dashboard contents is also not a guaranteed solution. Sometimes, as project leaders, we must go a little further.
In the past, I have recorded video reports explaining each of the metrics we are actively using on each project AND have captured receipt of these video reports when opened by each of the recipients. But even this does not guarantee that each recipient will watch, listen and understand what they are receiving.
What would you suggest and/or what have you used to successfully guarantee that all project team members stay completely informed about each project’s status?
